Here is Kelly’s bedroom before and after we organized it.
If you’re redoing a young adult’s room, don’t be afraid to use brightcolors on the walls, in the furniture, and in the accessories. It gives the room a cheerful personality.
Before we organized the room, Kelly had jewelry, clothes, and piles of stuff on the floor, the chair and everywhere.
The closet was redone with additional shelves for lots of shoes and plenty of hanging space for all her clothes. In addition, we purchased a jewelry holder with mirror that holds a lot of jewelry which every young woman always has in her room.
After the room was organized, it became a pleasant and enjoyable retreat for Kelly to relax, have friends over, and most of all, she was able to find jewelry, clothes, shoes, etc.
Collages, artwork and tchotchkes now have a home on the wall, on the desk or on the dresser.
Pictures of friends are grouped together on the wall over the dresser (that was pulled out of the closet).
Artwork is nicely spaced around the room.
Pulled floor mirror out of the closet to open up the room.
