How do you charge for projects?
First, I estimate a project –
I offer a free consultation to review the size and space of the potential project. I then ask many questions to define the goals and objectives for the client’s end-vision. Then, based on my 25 years experience, I assess what will be involved and how long that process will take.
Second, I figure out time/scale to determine costs –
My rates are very fair and comparable to the regional market value. I charge $50.00 an hour and require a 50% deposit before the project begins and then the remaining 50% half way through the project. When I travel out of the WDC Metropolitan area, I charge for the airfare and $100.00 per hour. I do not provide the storage boxes or other containers that we would discuss.
Third, I offer ways to save on projects –
The best way to prepare is to sort and discard as much as possible before the project begins. Also, you can purchase the bins and organizing containers we discuss in my consultation. And depending on where you purchase the organizing containers that can save you money as well.
