How do you handle purging or weeding out

1. I can work side-by-side with a client to review and discuss whether an item should be thrown out or given away,

2. I can let the client manage that process on their own and begin the project after that part is completed and/or,

3. I can use my good judgment and experience to make the decision for the client.
